BPG provides recruitment and staffing service for biomanufacturing talent. All candidates go through a comprehensive and hands-on training program to learn biomanufacturing concepts and operations of instrumentation. Training Learning Outcomes
Cell Culture/Upstream – Demonstrating aseptic techniques for vial thaw and shaker flasks splits, media and buffer preparation, understanding scale up from shaker flask to large scale bioreactors, single use assembly welding/fusing and qualification, designing a process flow diagram for an upstream process (inoculation, seed, production), and operation of single-use rocking and upright bioreactors.
Protein Purification/Downstream – Understanding buffer components and their attributes to the resin/process, column packing and testing, column conditioning (equilibration, loading, elution, chase, regeneration and sanitization), operation of AKTA Pure, navigation of Unicorn software, and interpreting chromatograms.
cGMP – Author batch records and procedures, investigation of a process deviation, and good documentation practices.
